Today was a much better day, emotionally, than yesterday. So I actually have #ThreeGoodThings to share about my day. 1. When I left home to run errands this morning, I ran into my neighbour and her very charismatic, attention-hogging Corgi, Strawberry! Strawberry is the best little doggo.

#threegoodthings 1. Found a new favorite bike trail 2. Nice walk with Miles on the Moose Trail 3. Goodbye weather in the 20s. I finally get to wear some fall clothes. Thought I might have to wait until October.

#threegoodthings 1. For the first time in my adult life someone who isn’t my partner or family reached out to me with plans for my birthday. 2. I smell delightful after an accidental double oiling of my bath. 3. Darling man came home from late shift with a surprise hot chocolate for me. 😊

I forgot to post my #threegoodthings last night, building habits is hard. 1. Cheese board floor picnic with friends 2. Found a secret portal or perhaps a less exiting Victorian ventilation system 3. My friends shy cat who hides from people adopted me as it’s pal and I turned it into a lap cat 💜

I have had the loveliest of birthdays there’s too many good things for just #threegoodthings Here’s to a very happy birthday, I think I’ll stick around for another one next year.

2. I learned that @adapalmer.bsky.social is coming out with a new book in March about the Renaissance. I particularly love her series of blog posts about Machiavelli and different ethical systems, so knowing they will be expanded upon in book form is a delight. #ThreeGoodThings

It's Thursday and here are #ThreeGoodThings I'm holding onto today. 1. I'm grateful that King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is the kind of band that livestreams their concerts and records/distributes their own bootlegs. It means a lot that they're willing to make their concerts so accessible.

#threegoodthings 1. Todays walk gave me treasures in the form of photos and moss for my terrarium 2. I put together the terrarium that’s been empty and taunting me for two years 3. Dinner was made entirely from leftovers of other meals and was delicious Thanks @charlrwalker.bsky.social
