🤓 in just 6 years, australia's two main grids added 51 TWh/yr of wind+solar generation. …taking us from 19.9% → 38.8% renewables. …this is equivalent to 6.6 large #nuclear reactors, but at much lower cost & much faster. …even more impressive given there's no chance of nuclear here for 20+ years.

U.S. intelligence, led by DNI Tulsi Gabbard, concluded in March 2025 that Iran is not actively building a nuclear weapon and that Supreme Leader Khamenei has not reauthorized a nuclear weapons program suspended since 2003. While Iran’s uranium enrichment is at record levels—enough for weapons-grade material—it’s still in civilian hands. Sea-levels are rising. With more frequent and destructive storm, storm surge, and flooding, extreme events become the norm and existing flood risk mitigation measures become obsolete. This means that #nuclear is on the front-line of climate change - and not in a good way.
