Most of Drakïrü is covered in tropical or temperate rainforests. This makes for an abundantly lush environment. The trees, plants, and some animals can be oversized, and some areas boast bioluminescence. Lower elevation mountains are often completely carpeted with forest.

Although the Barren Gale is one of the most challenging areas in the Tsinna Clanhold, the Körhån Lowlands are also formidable. This swampy area is permeated with heavy fog, dead trees, and is home to the great dhåzhÿvë, exceptionally large bear-like mammals with poisonous spines.

Most of Drakïrü is mountainous, but in the Tsinna Clanhold, the Shönchï Rise has contributed to the formation of the Barren Gale desert. The desert is cracking apart in the middle along a fault line and is full of slot canyons. The Blood River follows the fault line.

Does the Drakïrü map change? Actually, yes! Between Books 2 and 3 of the All Our Sins Saga, Clan Tsinna falls and is subsumed by its three aggressors, so the political borders end up changing for all of the involved parties. The conquerors split up the Tsinna Clanhold between them.

Like on Earth, the parts of planet Drakïrü that remain unexplored are mostly found in the oceans, though some of the deepest parts of the jungles are probably untouched too. Strange things happen in the oceans: lightning bolts race through the water and they are so big they can be seen from space!
