Made it to Salmon. Been a while since I've made that drive with roads consistently that terrible... I even used 4wd for bunch of it, which is rare. Skipped Gilmore, went via Mackay-Challis as Willow Creek looked way better. Made decent time considering the ice and going the longest way.

Heads up for those in the Tamarack area below the #RockFire, these slow-moving, very wet, storms look like they're headed your way over the next few hours. They're causing flash flooding SE of you -- if this amount of rain hits that very fresh burned area, it won't be pretty. #IdahoFire
