I suggest we start talking about this in °F. 4°C = 7.2°F, which seems like a lot more warming to my U.S. ears. Seriously, the ocean being 7°F above the reference period is an amazing forecast. It takes *a lot* of energy to heat water, so this indicates a *huge* redistribution of energy.
