Enjoyed a visit to Woorgreens, Forest of Dean, yesterday (06.08.26). Nice to find a good variety of dragonfly and damselfly, despite it being a cool day with quite a lot of cloud. Highlight for me was coming across this Red-veined Darter. #ukdragonflies #ukwildlife #odonata

Can't quite believe I'm writing this! For at least twelve years I've been trying to find Hairy Hawker on patch, an obvious addition to the patch Odonata list. This afternoon, two Hairy Hawker at Lower Bruckland Ponds! Never stopped moving but managed some snaps. Thrilled! #ukdragonflies
