Follow up to my earlier post for #ShowMeYourKnits shawls week... I finished my Ribbon Wrap after 5 years! Pattern by illitilli Yarn is acrylic based (stripes in Plymouth Yarns Encore) because I made it as a charity shawl. #menwhoknit #queerknitters #shawlknitting

A very large scarf is shown on a moss covered rock outcropping. The scarf is knit in Junction Fiber Mill’s “Making Tracks” DK weight yarn in color “Seaglass” with their natural ivory color for the line work that separates each shape. Because of the color gradient transition, pooling occurs within each shape creating a stained glass effect.

The scarf is knit sideways with a long cast on to start. Slipped stitches are used to move along the piece.
