Lanz, a soldier from Colony 9 in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, in his Ouroboros form. It is reminiscent of a mech in design. The art style is inspired by Yoji Shinkawa, artist of the Metal Gear series and Death Stranding series, amongst others. This style utilises heavy usage of black and white, with a focus on inferring shapes.

Time to get back to what I do best, copying the official pose and Yojifying it. I have redrawn the official render pose of Mio's Ouroboros form, in an art style inspired by Yoji Shinkawa, artist of the Metal Gear series. Character from Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on Nintendo Switch. No tracing was involved, and neither was any AI. I use these as a chance to practice simple anatomy and gesture exercises in the sketching phase, before doing my best to replicate the art style with my own touches.
