This trajectory emphasises the urgent need to address this growing health crisis. Cardiometabolic diseases can have detrimental effects on bone health, leading to fractures, morbidity and mortality, and reduced quality of life.1 Despite these known relationships, bone health is often underestimated and overlooked in this context.
