Maybe you already knew that—I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't until just a few summers ago, when my friend Megan served a cocktail with a blueberry lavender shrub at a gathering. I loved its tangy, fruity kick, and this recipe (inspired by hers) quickly earned a spot in my summer rotation.The gin version of this cocktail is delicious, but the shrub makes an equally good mocktail. Just mix it with sparkling water and serve garnished with plenty of fresh mint.
