Brett says his experiences with the unexplained began during a haunted childhood, leaving him with an open mind toward ghosts, psychic phenomena and the possibility that reality contains far more than we ordinarily perceive. His unusual upbringing eventually inspired him to explore what he describes as his own psychic and mediumistic abilities. Brett's life hasn't been confined to the paranormal. His background includes work in visual arts, television production and teaching, but his fascination with unexplained phenomena remained with him. He describes himself as clairvoyant, clairaudient and empathic and says he can perceive and communicate with ghosts, angels and other entities. Brett also reports performing what he calls spirit rescue, attempting to help spirits he believes remain earthbound move on. These experiences represent Brett's personal spiritual interpretation of paranormal phenomena rather than scientifically established abilities. One of the more unusual aspects of Brett's story is how he combines the paranormal with his love of motorcycle travel.
