Erect, cylindrical, segmented, glaucous light green shoots of a cactus branch out from near the base. Quite a few large white flowers protrude from the branches and many more can be seen, having finished flowering. The cactus is set in a begonia garden. There is a single story, bullnose verandah behind and a neighbouring two story terrace house wall and chimney. The sky is dark and a single star can be see over the cactus

Back on the #Brachychiton acerifolius cool aid. This plant is now at peak flowering. I was lucky to catch a pollinator (wasp or native bee?) examining a flower. Plants often have personal meanings. Genus Brachychiton certainly does for me. #Malvaceae #sydney #garden #BalconyGarden #FlowerReport 🌱
