 The Windsor Assembly Plant will be running a third shift again, starting
 on Tuesday.
 The third shift will employ 1,700 people, bringing the total number of
 employees at the Stellantis plant to 6,000.
 "Launching the new third shift at the Windsor Assembly Plant is a
 proud and significant milestone for Stellantis and for our Canadian
 operations," said Trevor Longley, president and CEO, Stellantis
 Canada. "With production of our next-generation, award-winning
 Dodge Charger lineup and No. 1-selling Chrysler minivans ramping up,
 we're creating jobs, expanding capacity and building real momentum.
 This investment reinforces our commitment to Canadian manufacturing
 and to the incredible team at Windsor Assembly."
 According to Stellantis, nearly 250 employees from the Brampton
 Assembly Plant elected to transfer to Windsor.
 A midnight, day, and afternoon shift will run in all major areas of the
 plant, including Body-in-White (BIW), Paint, General Assembly, and
 Material Handling. Skilled trades, including electricians, industrial
 mechanics, pipefitters, and toolmakers will also be involved in the third
 shift operations.
