If you’re in #macnamara or #wills vote for the candidate who’d back slain Aussie humanitarian worker Zomi Frankcom and her colleagues, not back the israeli regime that murdered her. #auspol

Don’t vote for anyone that measures how good a day was by how many babies were slaughtered that day. Or those willing to shake their hand with a smile. #macnamara #wills #auspol

If you’re voting for Labor or the Libs in #macnamara or #wills then you’re voting to support the genocide in Gaza. Be part of the solution, not the problem. #auspol

Happy Monday! After years of looking at probate inventories I have found my first female surveyor - Jane Davis was one of 3 people who valued an estate in Solihull in 1701. Not sure yet who she was - maybe a housekeeper or relative? Still, chuffed! #FamilyHistory #Genealogy #Warwickshire #Wills
Photo shows extract from handwritten preamble to a probate inventory naming Jane Davis as one of three probate surveyors.

Just got one of the wills I ordered for an ancestor of my husband's. He was a baker, and along with all his plates, linens, china, glass and other household goods, he also bequeathed to his widow his windmill! #familyhistory #wills #windmill

Found another Will for my Colnbrook #OnePlaceStudy for John Bullock one of the major land owners in Poyle. The Will has its own surprise. The testator appears to be sane. Why say that when one is already dead? Is he scared of being buried alive? This is the first for me after about 400 #wills.
Clause of a will of John Bullock proven 1781. He was from a major land owning family. "I order and direct that before my body be buries the wind pipe and throat of my body be cutting quite through and severed asunder and the Surgeon who perform this shall be paid two Guineas"...
