Richardson Wealth to Rebrand as Nobelia Wealth in November Under iA Financial Ownership

Richardson Wealth Ltd. is undergoing a rebranding process to become Nobelia Wealth Inc., a change that will take effect on November 30, pending regulatory approvals. The rebranding follows a series of name changes within the company's history, including its 2020 renaming from Richardson GMP Ltd. to Richardson Wealth after GMP Capital Inc. acquired the remaining shares. Richardson Wealth currently has 177 advisors across 141 teams managing $47.2 billion in assets under administration. The firm will maintain its corporate-partnership model for advisors with a 60-40 advisor-dealer compensation split, and will continue operating as a separate business entity under iA Financial. Additionally, Richardson Wealth is adopting iA Financial's technology, including Salesforce for advisors and the AX360 desktop developed in partnership with Google, which integrates customer relationship management, financial planning, research, portfolio management, and workflow technology into one platform. The firm is also migrating to iA Financial's IT infrastructure to enhance cybersecurity and has hired additional trainers to assist advisors in adopting the new technology. The rebranding was well-received by advisors, who were eager to move forward with the new name ahead of the 30-month deadline. Gallagher noted that the new identity will improve external discussions and support continued growth of the firm. The acquisition by iA Financial has brought benefits such as access to advanced technology and improved cybersecurity, which were key factors in the decision to rebrand and align with the parent company's brand identity.
