For a long time, the missing persons posts on this site followed a fairly straightforward format. I gathered the available information, organized the important details into bullet points, and tried to make the facts as easy as possible to read and share. While there was nothing inherently wrong with that approach. Names, dates, physical descriptions, locations, circumstances, and identifying information are incredibly important in missing persons cases. Sometimes one seemingly insignificant detail is exactly what causes someone to recognize a face, remember an encounter, or make a connection.
