My take: 50K was far enough that distance became meaningless. "This is just life now," was what I was thinking. A very tricky trail with lots of roots, sandy beaches, and loose rocks - but also great views. Finished just before the wind and rain really hit. #ultrarunning #trailrunning #50K #runsky

Just had such an incredible day of running doing the Bowland Ultra yesterday. Waist deep snow, ice, below 0c all day. Absolutely stunning, I really think the Forest of Bowland is one of the most beautiful places in the uk. Absolutely knackered today though! #running #ultrarunning
