先月，ドイツやオーストリアの 60 を超える大学・研究機関による共同声明で，X（旧 Twitter）の利用中止が発表されました。 開放性，包摂性，民主性，透明性，科学的で統合的な視野といった，研究機関の重んずべき価値観に X が適さなくなったことを理由としています。 私たちはこれに共鳴し，「東京大学 SNS 分散化プロジェクト」を設立しました。既に日本（とりわけ大学）で徐々に進みつつある「脱 X」における，一つのマイルストーンとなります。 当アカウントでは今後，東京大学学生の有志の運営により当プロジェクトの活動報告をおこなっていく予定です。 #Twitter #春から東大
東大のSNS拠点をXからBlueskyへ 1 月 10 日，ドイツやオーストリアの 60 以上の大学・研究機関が，開放性・透明性・民主性・科学的総合性と相容れないとして X 利用の中止を共同声明で発表しました。 【私物化された X】 イーロン・マスク氏による買収以来，Xでは同氏の独断同然の仕様・規約変更が繰り返されてきました。同氏は今や政府効率化省 (DOGE) のトップとなり，かつてない権力を行使しています。 ［画像: 2 月 13 日のイーロン・マスク氏の投稿。「Why 90% of America loves @DOGE 😂」という内容で，画像が添付されている。］ ● 権力者の支配 X は権力者，それも政府ではなく個人の“私物”であり，民主システムの外にあります。マスク氏の一存でいかようにも操作でき、公開もされないアルゴリズムに、少しでも公平中立さを期待できるでしょうか。上の画像は真新しい X アカウントで「おすすめ」のトップに来た投稿です。元からの X ユーザは偏向を直接は感じにくいかもしれません（筆者もです）が，X の偏向は既に現実のものです。 ● 不透明かつ閉塞的 ヘイト禁止ガイドラインからは「女性・有色人種・ジェンダーマイノリティ・セクシャルマイノリティ」が削除されました。これも，DEI を潰しにかかっている米政府の動きと符合します。マイノリティにはあなたの身近な人も含まれています。決して他人事ではありません。 またトランプ氏は性別二元論を「政府公式見解」としましたが，政治権力が科学的命題を公式見解と"決める"こと自体が中世の天動説のようです。 DEI を牽引する東大，アカデミズムを担う東大に X はふさわしくありません。 【開かれた Bluesky】 脱 X の動きで多くの SNS が“引越し先”の候補に挙がる中，私たちが Bluesky を推すのはいくつかの理由があります。 ● 使い勝手は X に近い Bluesky を作ったのは Twitter 共同創業者であり，UIが X に似ているため，元々 X を使っている学生にも違和感なく始められます。 ● 分散的な統治 Bluesky はいわゆる分散型SNS です。単一の運営者に権限が集中する「独占型」（X 等）と比較して，運営者も運営方法も異なる複数の SNS を接続できるのが特徴です。 権力が生む問題は，努力や注意ではなく構造によって防ぐ必要があります。今の X をもたらしたのは，独占型 SNS という「構造」に他なりません。 ● 開かれたコミュニティ Bluesky の利用規約では，X では粗末に扱われたマイノリティの保護が具体例とともに明文化されています。 これは Bluesky の運営が X に比べて遥かにオープンで健全であることを物語っています。 東京大学SNS分散化プロジェクト @ut-sns-d14n.bsky.social https://bsky.app/profile/ut-sns-d14n.bsky.social どうして受験生にこのビラを？ 新入生は，新年度の学部学生の実に 1/4 を占めます。既に東大生の X 外への移行率は国内全体に比べて高いようですが，新入生が X ではなく Bluesky を選べばその動きは決定的なものになります。 私たちが SNS 空間の健全さを取り戻せるかは，皆さんの選択にかかっています。 ● “大学用垢”は Bluesky に 新年度に向けて学内の交流のために SNS アカウントを作るなら，まずは Bluesky に作ることをオススメします。周りの受験生の友達と一緒に素早く作ってしまいましょう（仲間と一緒なら すぐにでも情報交換に使えます）。 ● X ユーザは併用を始めよう 既に X に“大学用垢”がある人も，まずは併用から，Bluesky を始めることをオススメします。たとえ政治的な意図がなくても，X を選ぶだけで X の影響力を強化します。徐々に Bluesky へ重心を移すことを目指して一歩踏み出しましょう。（Bluesky は鍵アカが未実装なので，オープン用の Bluesky・鍵用の X という使い分けもアリ。） 東京大学SNS分散化プロジェクト

apologies for the #twitter screenshot but like, the answer is that this is what the far right does. They encroach and appropriate. They take the aesthetics of the people they're trying to assimilate, often to ridiculous extremes because they generalize/caricaturize their targets, and blend in

Treasure Map on how to disable X #Grok #AI 🤖 - training on your user data :) Recently they quietly added the data sharing opt-out to the settings menu - only "To continuously improve your experience..." of course 😋 Doing this, they are in good "COMPANY" with the likes of #Meta. 1/2 #X #Twitter
