To my mind, Matt Damon should have won the Best Actor Oscar for 2015, over Leonardo DiCaprio trying too hard in a perfectly dull Revenant. Damon doesn't get to play off anyone, has limited spaces and bulky costuming, and still manages to make this engaging and endearing. #TheMartian #HATM

Watched #TheMartian today with my 90yo Dad. Superb film, and reminded me that the most terrifying thing in space or on other worlds isn't aliens, robots, or monsters, it's simply trying to live in an environment that will instantly kill you if you make a mistake. #LateReveiw

There is a lot of history of international cooperation between space programs; my favorite piece of material culture from those is the Apollo-Soyuz test project patch, which featured Snoopy (NASA's unoffical mascot) and the Russian bear. #TheMartian #HATM
