Rhythmbox 3.5 is now available!

Rhythmbox, which is a music player, a tag editor, and a music organizer built for Linux and Unix-like systems, has recently been updated to version 3.5, after nearly a decade in the release of version 3.4, which was out on August 14th, 2026. Rhythmbox 3.5 now enables the newer playback backend as the default. This backend was introduced on Rhythmbox 3.4.9 as a replacement for the old cross-fading feature.

Installing Google Chrome to Ubuntu proot environment with Termux

Google recently started rolling out the ARM64 version of Google Chrome for Linux machines. This gives a chance for users to install this browser straight from the official Google Chrome homepage, which coincides with the same installation method for regular 64-bit computers. You can download the browser from here. We have tested Google Chrome ARM64 on a Ubuntu proot distro with Termux on Android 16, and the browser worked with full Google account synchronization enabled.

Google Chrome is now finally available on ARM64 Linux!

Google announced that the rollout of Google Chrome, which is a popular web browser, started for ARM64 Linux machines on March of this year, with a promise that the rollout would be finished in the second quarter of this year. Users with those machines will be able to finally get the full Google Chrome experience without any limitations on Linux.
