Favourite recent #creative achievement: drawing this little #sacredspring in a #stonecircle, at the opening of a #burialmound beside the #sea 🩵 It’s not much, but I’m a little bit in love with how this little detail turned out. This is a part of the background in my new Carneddau pony piece.

A Sunday afternoon #art session gave me time to produce another larger (for me) #watercolour #painting of a Dartmoor landscape. This one is of the #Scorhill #StoneCircle. I used a soft pencil, rather than a fine ink pen, for adding details and I'm really pleased with the result!

Here's a second #Dartmoor #watercolour. This one is of #Brisworthy #stonecircle. I think I've managed to capture the wild, moody remoteness that is so typical of Dartmoor better in this one, but I'm not 100% happy with the ink marks on all of the stones...
