As of last night, the public build of Librario officially supports getting #book metadata from #Goodreads, in addition to the other sources.
Source code is on #SourceHut, if anyone is interested.

Indeed, #codeberg are very nice people and they operate under German law. Being blind I am not really into the whole #github web heavy work flows, though. I wish they would adopt some ideas from #sourcehut, including rinning an #irc server. Having a per-org irc channel would be nice.

However, I am using NixOS, and the only officially supported distro for Sourcehut is Alpine. I naively thought that I can just create a bunch of Podman images with Alpine as a base and host them as Quadlets, but after doing a git.sr.ht image, I am starting to realize, that this is not so easy of [β¦]

While checking out some options, I remembered about Sourcehut, and I realized that email-based workflows are ticking almost every point in what I am looking for. If there's someone who hosts Sourcehut, and they configured email support, I can just send them patches. Likewise, people can send [β¦]

I am trying to move to some less centralized git forge, and I am looking around for options. In my ideal world, if I host an instance of a forge, I can freely connect with all other instances without prior registration.
