After the events of "Meggy's Destiny", Team Killer Ink's reputation has gone downhill ever since Team Splatsquad won the final Splatfest years ago. Their leader couldn't let go of her loss and started to vent out her anger everyday. The team eventually got disqualified and disbanded for rigging the match, causing the other three teammates to leave, never wanted to team up with her anymore.
Sad and angry, she plan to take revenge on Team Splatsquad (mainly Mario, Luigi & Tari), only to be stopped by SMG4. He was looking for a replacement for Meggy after she got "deleted off" by SMG3. She was eager to replace her rival, but at that very moment, she was given a new name, Waggy.
Now that she's part of the gang, Waggy have to go through what Meggy's been through like burning the kitchen, watch anime with Boopkins, turning into a Goomba or even get ridiculed by everyone for her new name.
