I’d like to remind everyone who was jumping all over @joebiden.bsky.social for not “slaying” at TV banter on The View 10 days ago, that they are free to update their many implications about the meaning of that appearance to his term in office at any time. #joebiden #prostatecancer #bonecancer

It is 3 years since I had the prostate operation and all is well 🥳 I can't stress this enough: if you have ANY symptoms of prostate problems - SEE YOUR GP. 💙 Help is out there 💙 It could simply improve your quality of life....or even....save it 💙 #prostatecancer

Although tricky to target, #ProstateCancer cells that lack p53 still depend on the integrated stress response and can be killed with inhibitors of the enzyme GCN2 that disrupt purine synthesis. Read more in #ScienceSignaling: scim.ag/3D6Lyme
Coordination between the eIF2 kinase GCN2 and p53 signaling supports purine metabolism and the progression of prostate cancer

Coordination between the eIF2 kinase GCN2 and p53 signaling supports purine metabolism and the progression of prostate cancer

Targeting a cell stress response is synthetic lethal with loss of p53 in prostate cancer cells.

I’m back from the cancer treatment, now working full time again! I’d like to advise anyone with a prostate at a certain age to do regular PSA tests. My treatment would have been easier if it had been caught before the symptoms were obvious #prostatecancer

Had my 3rd hormone injection yesterday (as part of my treatment for prostate cancer). Which means my brain fog and unhealthy interest in ladies handbags will continue for a while yet. 😉 Seriously, though, I’m asking all men over 50 to get your PSA checked… it could save your life. #ProstateCancer
