When I made the design for this I wasn’t sure about the main Sting. It just felt…lifeless? But I figured let’s try it anyway. Final result? Okay. My first thought was correct. I’ll do a new Sting somewhere down the line. #gelliplate #gelliprint #aew #sting #printmaking

Sometimes I give myself a hard time for being a baby artist who doesn't use digital tools in my #Printmaking then I see a woodcut artist who digital collages stock images and uses a computer to laser cut a woodcut and I don't feel so bad.... youtu.be/XabLavjomtE?...

First pass of the first run! The new inks are oil based and dry slower, so it wasn't as stressful which I appreciate greatly. They were supposed to clean up with soapy water but there was no way. Mineral spirits did the trick just fine tho. #art #TraditionalArt #linocut #printmaking
