When I explain to people how I rode with multiple Consulate Generals across Toronto on bikes, showed off all of our cycling infrastructure, but it was Shaw Street that they were most impressed with. They asked, Why we don’t have streets like this ALL OVER TORONTO? My Answer: Lack of #PoliticalWill

Danforth Av was closed this afternoon to single occupancy vehicles from Broadview Av to Pape Av 1.16km (Taste of The Danforth canceled in 2023 would have the street closed to Jones Av 1.56km) What would happen if we found elected reps who had the #PoliticalWill to have this happen every weekend?

#30DaysOfBiking I love that wonderful events like the Greek Independence Day parade taking place at 1.30pm today prove how easy it can be to create pedestrian-filled streets. Would enjoy seeing this every weekend to create destination specific zones (especially important for shop local initiatives)
