Oops, not going that way home. Luckily nobody else is out this time of night so I can reverse my way wrong way up this boulevard 😅 Wind is just starting to get crazy so I suspect it will be a while before crews are out to clear this stuff. #PAwx

Updated Patio table watch.😂 Northwest PA highways are all a big giant Nope. Multi vehicles stuck on I-90. I-90 also sucking in NY. #winter #LakeEffect #PAwx

From the NY State Thruway Authority: Effectively immediately, ALL COMMERCIAL VEHICLES are ban from the Thruway (I-90) in both directions from exit 46 (Rochester - Corning - I-390) to the PA state line until further notice. ALERT- THRUWAY CLOSED: Due to the lake effect snow storm and the closure of I-90 in PA from the NY State line to I-79, ALL VEHICLES are banned on the Thruway (I-90) WESTBOUND from Exit 59 go the PA state line.

Took a drive yesterday late afternoon. I had hoped to get pics with the snow and rare day of sun, but the Lake Effect machine kicked up snow squalls right then😭 #winter #snow #PAwx

We get our first lake effect snow on Monday in what looks like a one day event before temps warm up again, so I will be staying home that day because nobody remembers how to drive in snow during the first several snowfalls of the season. #PAwx

So, as near as we can tell, our yard total for this first snow event of the season is coming in around 50ish inches. Probably a little more, but we go with our lowest spots. Later tonight will start our next snow event, but with luck that will push inland more. #winter #PAwx #snow
