We are doing a GeriPal podcast on caring for people with serious illness and substance use this Thursday with some amazing palliative care & addiction medicine providers. What burning questions do you have (some of mine are below) #medsky #palliative #hospice
Question’s on cancer pain & SUD

Is buprenorphine your go-to for pain and SUD?
What do you do about prn opioids?
Do you do pill counts and UDTs on everyone?
How many days of opioids do you give out?
When should PC refer to addiction medicine?
What does the palliative care clinic do when cancer is cured, but they still have SUD needs?
