October 2016 β€”β€”> October 2026 I’m so happy with this redraw❀️ I haven’t really followed any prompts since I was in school, which was a lifetime ago, so I did my own thing for Inktober back then. Nalani is still gorgeous✨ #OC #OCSky #OCArt #Redraw #OldArt #Art #TraditionalArt #Inktober

#postaday2026 #artsky #blueskyart #bskyart #art #oldart I’m going to be busy all day, so I’m posting an older piece I haven’t posted in a while. πŸ˜ŠπŸ’œ β€œThe Night Library” (2020). It took me a month to come up with all the book titles, researching animal and cheese names. Little bit more cheese. πŸ§€πŸ˜
The Night Library - an 8x10” marker, ink, and paint pen drawing from 2020. The drawing shows four bookshelves, with colourful books on each shelf with titles that are either cheese or rodent puns, like β€œThe Brothers Capybara” or β€œA Brie History of Time”.
The lowest shelf has a white mouse reaching up to the second shelf, where a white mouse and a grey mouse are playing on the books. To the left on the second shelf are two brown mice seated in a space between the books, holding tiny books, and smiling at each other.
The third shelf from the bottom has one dark grey mouse reading, while a lighter grey mouse lying on the top shelf holds a lantern so the reading mouse can see. They are making eye contact with each other.
On the third shelf up, there is also a curved wooden bookend in an abstract shape. On the top shelf is a glass vase, holding green leaves in water, and a neon pink, purple, and blue mouse profile lamp.
My favourite title is top left, β€œThe Gnawed of the Rings”, followed by β€œThe Once and Future Mink”.
