The famous 'lone tree' of #Llanberis, #NorthWales on a winter sunrise last year. This tree is easily missed so walk slowly coming up to it. Hundreds of photographers attempt to photograph this spot every year but it isn't as easy as I first thought. More in 'ALT' #photography

The gorgeous lonely tree of LLanberis is photographed every day I expect. People come from all parts to attempt to photograph it. It isn't as easy as I first thought. Firstly, you do have to get there early to get the prime spot. remember your boots as you do have to be in the water. Expect swimmers to go out into your foreground and a lot of ducks. If you are lucky to get a decent shot you deserve an award in itself!

Fabulous silver studded blue butterflies, these are the caernesis subspecies, the size of my little finger nail! The makes are the plain blue ones but there is a lot of variation in the females.
