I rather wonder if the #Tesla models involved in these low-visibility crashes ('sun glare, fog, airborne dust') are those with only cameras + no other sensors. Will likely take a while for this latest of several #NHTSA investigations to conclude anything.

1/7 Naturally, I do not support scrapping this. And naturally, #Tesla would want to scrap this #NHTSA General Order. That said, this program was used as a fig leaf, by our ineffective auto safety regulators, to trick the public into thinking that they are on top of these systems.

Sharing crash data for your dangerously unproven technology running on public roads shouldn't be optional. Just stop giving money to this guy.
