If Aristotle is right and we’re mimetic beings, the second version of Napoleon felt more real to me because it seemed like more relatable. It felt more familiar, like something I could actually relate to in real life. #hwa3 #morereal

#hwa3 #morereal if aristotle was right, I believe that the second media speaks to me the most. I resonate with that piece of art’s message more than the other

If Aristotle was indeed correct, I would say the second is more real. That's because for ME, its more relatable. #morereal #hwa3

If Aristotle was right, then I think that Wiley's version of Napoleon feels more real. It shows us what has been excluded; it shows the deeper universal truth of what we fight for. #hwa3 #morereal

1. Wiley's version feels more "real" to me because I am a woman of color. I think the cultural difference and messages intended by each piece speak to me differently, and this one happens to have an element I can connect with, which separates it #hwa3 #morereal

#hwa3 #morereal if aristotle was right, I believe that the second one feels more to me, because the second version has an important message behind it, and pieces of art that have a deep aim and message will always feel the realest to me, as compared to anything else.

#hwa3 #morereal considering both paintings are replicas; one of a moment and one of the former painting, I think they can both represent memetic-ness(?), however the second painting does a better job of trying to sway a specific audience. There seems to be more meaning than just "look this is tough"

#hwa3 I would say Napoleon ethos version of the Aristotle is felt more real up on the Wiley's painting. It may have more detail and this might be the way of saying how they have lived their lives. #morereal

#hwa3 #morereal The Wiley version feels more real to me because it’s a portrayal of a non white version of the painting, with modern streetwear and such. It feels more creative.

#hwa3 #morereal without a doubt the wiley painting of "napoleon" feels more real. napoleon was made larger than life through poetic, imaginative means that paper over the uglier aspects of his reign.

Wiley's feels more real to me. It challenges who we see holding "power" and makes you think about who history represents. #hwa3 #morereal
