New CCTV footage shows missing 13-year-old girl at Manchester Piccadilly bus station
Greater Manchester Police have released fresh CCTV images of Lillia, a 13-year-old girl from Bolton who has been missing for over a week. Lillia left her family home on Friday, 11 September, and despite extensive searches, her whereabouts remain unknown. After reviewing hours of surveillance footage, officers identified a key sighting of the teenager at Manchester Piccadilly bus station at 10.36am on Monday, 14 September. The images show her wearing dark clothing with her hood up and carrying a backpack after alighting from a number 36 bus that she had boarded in Salford. Chief Superintendent Helen Critchley, of GMP's Bolton district, confirmed that the investigation now covers the whole of Greater Manchester, with officers from across the force supporting the enquiry. Police are also considering the possibility that Lillia may have travelled outside the Manchester area. Previous sightings placed her at the Trafford Centre shopping complex on Saturday, 12 September, and at a McDonald's in Piccadilly Gardens on Sunday evening before she was seen boarding the bus on Monday morning. Lillia is described as white, slim, approximately 5ft 5in tall, with light brown hair and glasses. Her mother issued a heartfelt appeal, stating: 'Lill, I love you so, so much. My heart is breaking without you here. I need to know you are safe. We all need you back home safe and well.' Anyone with information about Lillia's movements after she left the bus is urged to contact Greater Manchester Police immediately.
