Referring to images and making art is a good way to start. However, it leads to many years of ill-practice of making flat artworks. Since images are 2 dimensional, during this demo, quickly made this prototype head of the Shikra to show form, structure and shape.

I’ve had a tough few months with esophageal ulcers. Unable to eat well, nausea and hiccups. Lost lot of weight hence didn’t conduct any summer art classes this year.
Working with 13th-year-old Tarang for two months on Sundays, sharing my knowledge of form, structure, shapes and basics of art making. We worked on making this master study with graphite pencils during a period of month. Spanning 5+ hours, sharing the result with you all. A satisfactory result for Tarang and his parents.

There are a lot more steps to be climbed for him in his artistic journey, glad to play a small part!
