if you haven't watched #CelebrityMasterChef this year, you missed out on Joe Pasquale buying a skeletal morph suit and having to cut a mouth and eye holes into it himself. It is absolutely terrifying and the funniest 5 minutes of television I've seen this year. #MasterChefUK

#CelebrityMasterchef final was a bit of an anti-climax All three ladies did faultless three course meals No surprise that the lady with Caribbean heritage and the one with Pakistani heritage didn't win, as the show's new racism had been clearly displayed with the two black entrants #MasterChefUK

Congratulations to Lauren Steadman, the English white girl from Peterborough/Portsmouth who won Celebrity Masterchef with the two pantomime dames (sorry, judges) choosing her over Shakira (part Pakistani) and Emily (part Caribbean). Was glad that Sue Cleaver was eventually eliminated after the absolutely disgraceful way she had spoken various times to one of the black contestants, Melvin Odoom. Joe Pasquale should really have gone further in the contest than he did. So this series was quite seriously flawed by overt racism and covert sexism but me and wifey did end up watching all of it.

I find it ironic that John Torode was sacked from #MasterChefUK for using the N word more than once Grace Dent/Giorgio Locatelli have been openly racist against the two black contestants so far on #CelebrityMasterChef Sue from Corrie treated team-mate Melvin like 💩, very rude, then called him lazy

When I saw how vitriolic Grace Dent and ugly chef Giorgio Locatelli were to Eric Under wood I wondered whether it was because he was black, because he was gay or because he was a ballet dancer. They called his mackerel dish 'a catastrophe' when it didn't actually look any different to Una's, but Una had just been asked, very politely, "What happened to the fish?". Then Melvin Odoom turned up in the next batch of celebrities and was treated just as appallingly.

Max did just as badly as Melvin, arguably worse, but he was white so he made it through to the next round. Sue from Coronation Street had been really bossing Melvin Odoom about and had been rude to him on numerous occasions, then had the audacity to tell him afterwards that he was lazy! Who was giving her the impression in the MasterChef production team that it was acceptable for her to talk to him in that disrespectful manner? The production team for this show is quite clearly racist. Two black contestants so far, both out.
