One who is a victim of The Mask is rendered as what can best be described as a living mannequin or doll. They no longer possess the typical biological needs to eat, drink, go to the restroom, or even breath. They can absorb liquids if they desire, though.

They are also capable of easily standing still and holding poses for long periods of time without any issue at all, as well as find joy in being dressed up and observed/appreciated by others.

Such is the case for this individual by the name of Nori Subara. Nori was never fond of his body and looks, and wished he no longer had to deal with such things in life. That was when The Mask came to him, allowing some time to experiment with new forms and looks, until the time came when it disappeared, leaving him as just a smooth, featureless mannequin.

But strangely, Nori was into it after getting over the initial surprise. At some point, a friend of Nori's would approach them with a strange but enticing job opportunity.

That feeling when you decide to just go with something, and it awakens thoughts and desires within you that you never knew you had.

Nori's diving into being a store mannequin resulted in a bit of a spiral that led to an interest in being referred to as an 'it', which made the Simulaquin feel strangely happy and 'right'. It was a little worried at first with how deep the rabbit hole would go, but didn't want to stop.

But there was definitely something freeing about being able to cast away most normal living worries and just be a 'thing' with one simple task.
