Intuitive Machines Selected by L3Harris to Support Tracking Satellites for SDA and America’s Missile Defense

Intuitive Machines (Nasdaq: LUNR) announced it was selected by L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX) to support the Space Development Agency’s Accelerated Missile Defense Tranche 3 (AMDT3) mission. Intuitive Machines will design, build, and deliver 18 IM 300 spacecraft platforms for hypersonic and ballistic missile tracking.According to Intuitive Machines, AMDT3 supports the “Golden Dome” concept for U.S. space-based capabilities, enhancing homeland defense, deterrence, and resilient space operations. The AMDT3 satellites will use the IM 300 platform, which the company also cites for Tranche 1, Tranche 2, and Tranche 3 Tracking Layer missions.
