Right wing papers. Democracy is the will of the people. Unfortunately weak willed (stupid) people will bend to the media they watch. We MUST regulate the media.

The Times. Explicitly and deliberately, as a matter of editorial policy, promoting violent racist thugs.

A Media Sovereignty Act to keep non-UK based billionaires out of British media control could be just what we need. 👇

Imagine a man driven to kill himself because the British media destroyed his reputation based on lies. And then imagine that, even after his death, that same media carry on tormenting his family with the same soul destroying lies. Incredible, isn’t it. But here we are

One of the first "outrageous" claims I saw as Jason Arday's media hounding unfolded was that he ran 30 marathons in 35 days! Wow! What a thing to claim! And the newspapers all suggested there was no evidence he actually did it. Well, they clearly didn't look very hard 🙄 🧵 1/26
