In the 17th and 18th c’s, Jews in #Prague had processions in honor of the birth of an heir to the #Habsburg throne & published descriptions somewhat similar to the one described here re courtly wedding festivities. I’d love to meet more folks working on similar in #EarlyModern and/or #JewishStudies
