After Mr Smith Goes to Washington, the 1991 Malayalam comedy drama Sandesham is another movie that echoes through time. Political satire that spares no one. That makes you laugh and marvel that things remain the same all these years later. #Films #IndianCinema
The movie's name Sandesham written in Malayalam splits the poster in two, horizontally. In the image above, two men wearing a white shirt and a brown shirt, hold flags of fictional flags as they shout slogans. The image below shows a political procession passing through a village.

Watched the fascinating Jugnuma the Fable, and the title says it all. Did I say I'm too impatient for slow-paced storytelling? Apparently it doesn't matter as long as it's compelling. And this movie is immersive, pensive and engaging. You... #FilmSky #Desiwatch #IndianCinema 1/3
The film poster shows a happy family with the younger son on his father's shoulders with arms lifted, the older daughter whose smiling face is visible in the bracket between their arms and the mother laughing looking up at the son. The backdrop shows a two-level house with lots of windows set against a blue backdrop of stars in the daytime and pine trees. A flare of orangish-yellow light comes off from the side. the title of the movie, Jugnuma (The Fable) is written at the top along with crew credits.

Warm, sweet, uplifting, funny... all these describe Tourist Family, the Tamil film. Sure, it's idealistic but with its LoL moments intertwined with the poignant, this film makes you want to believe in, even as you yearn for a gentle world like this. #moviesky #DesiWatch #IndianCinema #subtitles
The main characters of the Tamil Film Tourist Family, smile as they look out from the terrace of a small building. A settlement with trees surrounds the building. There is a black water tank behind them and on the wall they are leaning on iare paper planes. The characters from left to right are the youngest son wearing a lime t-shirt, the father with a beard and wearing a checked beige shirt, the mother in a rust brown saree with a navy blue border with her hair braided and the oldest son in a navy blue t-shirt with stubble on his face. The name of the film is on the top of the poster against the blue sky.

Why does this #movie have an IMDB rating of only 4.7?! Don't folks like absurdist comic commentary? Over-the-top melodrama across time periods? A fun spin-off of Nna Thaan Case Kodu: Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval's Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayahariyaya Pranayakatha #IndianCinema #FilmSky
The poster of Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval's Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayahariyaya Pranayakatha (Suresh and Sumalatha's Heart-Touching Love Story).
It shows a man and woman embracing. He's in a off white shirt and red trousers. She's in a pink printed saree and green blouse. They are under an arch decked with flowers. Behind their heads is the moon and in the centre of the arch on top is the face of a man wearing a glowing tiara. This man is the main lead of the movie of which this is the spin-off Nna Thaan Case Kodu. The movie name and credits are towards the bottom.
