I just shared @infrequently.org's recent post about the W3C web standards process to the ATProto community forum. It really unlocked for me how we need to think about what ATProto Working Groups like Private Data are - which is NOT a standards process, rather a tool for collaboration & invention!

If you're in Vancouver for #IETF this week (ie, didn't have your flight cancelled), try and take a break for a walk through Stanley Park. Parts of it feel like you've stepped into a scifi B-movie or a Stargate episode (for good reason), plus you can get some fresh air. It's easy to get to by bus.
