Good #ICJ ruling. In simple English, it translates to "states have a legal obligation to mitigate & adapt. Rich, historical emitters have greater obligations. Someone needs to explain basic climate science to all the rich countries at #ICJ that are rejecting the notion of historical responsibility. That warming is directly proportional to *cumulative* emissions because CO2 stays in the atmosphere for millennia
