Apple workers could have gotten $4 MILLION each over 8 years. Instead, Apple spent $650 BILLION on stock buybacks. Shareholders got rich. Workers got nothing. This isn't investment. It's theft. Tax the rich.

South Korea's 49th PM knew AI should fund UBI. This is common sense policy now that all technologically advanced societies should adopt. "I am considering the idea of combining the massive wealth that will arise in relation to the AI great transformation with basic income." UBI works.

UBI has been proven to reduce food and housing insecurity, while supporting work. "At the same time, we need to be careful that we don't forget that we need to address the root causes of household food insecurity. It's an income problem that requires income solutions."

A court in Hangzhou just awarded compensation after a worker was fired and replaced with AI. That's the point: if AI displaces you, compensation shouldn't depend on whether you can afford a legal fight. UBI is the universal floor.

An entire industry asked to be saved by UBI -- fishermen Irish farmers already get a "basic income support for sustainability" that pays per hectare farmed. It plays a key role in guaranteeing food security, and for farmers, income resilience and a fair standard of living.
