Hecla Reports Second Quarter 2026 Results
Hecla Mining (NYSE:HL) reported second quarter 2026 revenue of $334 million, down 19% from the record prior quarter, mainly on lower realized silver and gold prices and timing of shipments. Income from continuing operations was $118 million or $0.18 per share, with adjusted EBITDA from continuing operations of $199 million, 25% lower quarter-over-quarter but more than double 2Q25.Cash flow from continuing operations reached $175 million, with free cash flow of $136 million, both sharply higher year-over-year. Hecla ended the quarter with $483 million in cash and, after redeeming the remaining $263 million of 7.25% Senior Notes, reported no debt excluding leases, plus an undrawn $225 million revolver and a $75 million accordion option. Silver production from continuing operations was 4.2 million ounces, up 8% from the prior quarter, with costs applicable to sales down 6% to $117 million. Lucky Friday achieved record silver production of 1.5 million ounces, while Greens Creek and Lucky Friday both set new quarterly free cash flow records.
