Today like every week day 1.3m people will consult in General Practice 1/30 will need emergency care at A&E 1/5 will need a referral to another NHS service for investigation or treatment in the future GP practices have been dealing with 20% more patients than 2019 5.6% of the budget #GeneralPractice

Doctors have been removed from GP practices by political choice, NHS England policies & funding Potentially 3000+ GPs are available to work now but the funding isn’t there Cuts of £350k for the average practice has seen the average number of patients per GP rise from 1800 to 2300 #GeneralPractice

If we are to rescue the #NHS , we need to start with rescuing #GeneralPractice first. Vast majority of patients contacts and #patientcare starts and ends in #TeamGP . No solution to the troubles of the NHS can be found without supporting it.
