Day 12: Lara (90mins) Airbrushed brown + brown/black over whole boot: gave the different hues some much needed cohesiveness. I then did silver detailing again. Painted laces in black. Then heavy handed wash in nuln oil, which I knew would look leathery. #hobbystreak #garagekit #modelmaking

Day 9C: Lara (60min) I switched to brush. Lathered on some coats browns and reds, each diluted >50% in water, and allowing time to dry between. I then started picking away at some of the silver details. #hobbystreak #modelmaking #minipainting #resinprinting #gaming #garagekit #gk #3dprint

Day 9B: Lara (30min). So the least scary place to start painting was her boots! I worked up to a red/brown by making various mixtures of: black, red, brown, deck tan (airbrush). Just a base coat, I want to make these boots v detailed. #hobbystreak #minipainting #3dprinting #garagekit #painting

Day 8: Lara (15 min) Glossy primer doesn't lie: I hadn't sanded down enough the resin I applied to her chest (was trying to hide layer lines). I used 400 & 600 grit sanding sticks to spot-sand the area (not yet done). #hobbystreak #printandpaint #3dprinting #garagekit #minipainting #artsky #3d

Day 6: Lara (5min) I was brave and glued her face to torso 😭 I hadn't planned to do this until AFTER all painting was done, but I knew I wouldn't be able to unsee the seam in her neck... Next step will be using UV resin to fill and hide seam. #hobbystreak #garagekit #3dprinting #laracroft

Day 4: Lara (60min) Yesterday I finished my first pass of prep, enough to confirm the model fits together (see picture). Today I started my second pass of prep. Focussing on finer details. #hobbystreak #modelmaking #garagekit #gk #laracroft #3dprinting #resinprinting #hobby #artsky #3d #model

Day 1: Lara (45 mins) New P95 filters in my respirator. Took my Fanttik rotary tool outside and started doing prep. Removing supports, polishing, making peg/holes fit. Model in good shape, but this will take a while! #hobbystreak #garagekit #3dprinting #resinprinting #artsky #laracroft
