Really excited to have found these Ordoviciam trilobites in the Anti-Atlas, Morocco. One is extremely tiny, but both specimens preserve clear eye detail, which always makes a find special. The small one may be a juvenile calymenid-type trilobite. #trilobite #fossils #Ordovician

This fossil was shown to me and I really liked the delicate fan-like pattern. Not sure what it is though — maybe a marine plant, or possibly a bryozoan colony. The texture looks like a net or a leaf, and it made me stop and look twice. #Fossils #Paleontology #Paleobotany #Travel

Orthoconic cephalopod fossils (likely nautiloids, Orthocerida) preserved in a marine limestone slab. These Paleozoic cephalopods (~400 Ma) are early relatives of modern squid and octopus, belonging to the same class (Cephalopoda), before the evolution of reduced or internal shells. #fossils #geology

Pliosaur tooth found by a friend who took me into the mountains of Aslfa. A marine repite. Even at the top of a mountain, you can find remains of ancient marine life. Estimated age: ~100–90 million years (Late Cretaceous). #Fossils #Pliosaur #Paleontology
