At first sight it looks like a fossil fish, with a possible head and eye. However, the solid cylindrical form suggests it may instead be a belemnite — an extinct squid-like cephalopod. Found in Asfla, Morocco by the same friend who discovered the ammonite. #Fossil #Cephalopod #Paleontology
