I'm not a religious or spiritual person but yesterday, on the first wedding anniversary I had spent without my lovely wife in 58 years, I had a visit from a little #Robin - her favourite garden bird. It came close enough to touch. Tears were shed. #ForJanet #ECK #Photography #Birds #Nature

My wife Janet turns to talk to our Smooth Fox Terrier Patsy as we make our way through tall Pines in woodland near our home in Surrey, close to the Kent border, four years ago. Both are now gone and so are many of those trees as it is managed woodland. Life moves on.
