It's Sunday in Waltham, you know what that means... See you in the Common from 2-4 PM today! Whoever said there's no such thing as a free lunch never stopped by our table. #FoodNotBombs

Speaking of war/crimes & countless other atrocities, I was sad to learn of the recent death of Chris Rust. Chris was virtually synonymous with #FoodNotBombs in Melbourne/Naarm, a co-founder of the group & its mainstay for many years. A quiet guy who loved music & serving food to the community.

Remember to love the Earth every day. Be frugal. Don't buy things you don't need, get used or free stuff when you can. There are ways to do that, just look around. Get to know your community, help each other, ask for help. We can all do small things that have a big impact. #earthday #foodnotbombs

On a happier note: An awesome fellow #FoodNotBombs accomplice from Portland sent me a care package that arrived today! These are SO cool! I can't wait to hand them out to my local comrades! Thank you so very much!!! 💚🖤 @fnbpdx.bsky.social

Sunday in Waltham means time for Food Not Bombs. You'll find us in Waltham Common park from 2-4 PM today with free fresh vegan meals and supplies for anyone who shows up. It's raining pretty hard, but we have tents. Weather doesn't stop us. #FoodNotBombs #MutualAid #DoItYourDamnedSelf #Solidarity

SOLIDARITY NOT CHARITY

More than a meal, a meal with a message

FOOD NOT BOMBS

The money spent by the world on weapons in one week is enough to feed all the people on earth for a year. When millions of people go hungry each day how can we spend another dollar on war? More than 25,000 people die because of hunger every day. If you feel that people need food more than bombs we invite you to call us today. The next few years could profoundly change the world for generations and Food Not Bombs is working to make those changes positive for everyone. We are an all volunteer movement with autonomous groups active in the Americas, Asia, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, New Zealand and Australia. We welcome your help.

Food Not Bombs is organizing several projects in your community.

Free food distribution to local people in need.

■Literature tables to provide information about food, peace and justice

Providing hot vegetarian meals at demonstrations and events.

■Organizing creative actions in protest to war, poverty and environmental destruction...
